Fearing the destruction of mankind from atomic devastation, a group of scientists devise a plan to tunnel deep into the Earth in order to create a refuge for humanity. With the financial backing of the multi-millionaire businessman Wright Tompson (Kellogg), brilliant scientist Dr. Jerimiah Morley (Kilian) builds a giant travelling drill – The Cyclotron. Soon, the scientists are boring toward the center of the Earth. As they do, they stumble upon a hidden cavern deep within the Earth, and then the true adventure (and horror) begins…

Luckily they manage to find a series of deep sea caverns, but then the real danger begins… Can Professor Wyman devise another means to rescue our intrepid explorers before it is too late!?!

Starring: Richard Moll, Jeffrey Byron, Leslie Wing, Daniel Dion, Gina Calabrese. Mestema (Moll), a demonic wizard from another dimension, challenges a computer programmer (Byron) to a battle of sorcery versus technology where the prize is the programmer’s girl…and his immortal soul! Each challenge is a segment directed by Band’s production company’s stable of directors. Includes a soundtrack by (and segment starring) heavy metal rockers W.A.S.P. Fun fact: it was originally called “Ragewar”, but the U.S. distributors (Empire Pictures) changes the name to cash in on the growing popularity of a little role-playing game called ‘Dungeons and Dragons’.

Chicago Cop Robert Malone (Williamson) needs a vacation and so he head off to Manila to relax. The good times are short lived, however, as Interpol calls on him to help them thwart a high-tech weapons smuggling ring. These criminals will pay dearly for wrecking his time-off!!!

(1995) (85Ms) Directed by Rene Migliacco. Starring: Scott Fishkind, Ed Zajac, John Sumner, Mari Blackwel.
Police detective Benjamin St. Clair (Fishkind) has moved to the top of the revenge list for local drug lord, Carl (Zajac). During a drug raid, St. Clair killed Carl’s brother and now Carl intends to kill those close to St. Clair. Can St. Clair protect those he loves and bring this vicious, killing drug dealer to justice?

(1995) (75Ms) Directed by Randy Misho. Starring: Karl Niemiec, Stuart Wilson, Blumen Young, Wendi Westbrook. L.A. detective Joe Average (Niemiec) is about to bust wide open the biggest drug case on the West Coast when his girlfriend is kidnapped. The price for her freedom – give up the case! But Joe knows this is a no-win situation and must battle his way from South Bay to the Valley, from East L.A. to Downtown to stop both this nefarious drug king-pin and to rescue his girl from a homicidal kick boxing assassin!

(1972) (84Ms) Directed by Oscar Williams. Starring: Billy Dee Williams, D’Urville Martin, R.G. Armstrong, Celia Kaye. It’s a war against the system! A black radical (Williams), tired of being pushed around by a white society that demeans him and his family, tired of the police harassing him and his friends at every turn, leads a revolt that results in a bloody race war.

Regionally, Three Floyds, Goose Island, Capitol, Two Brothers, Half Acre,
Founder’s, Bell’s & Lakefront Brewing will be represented, and many of these
brewers will be in attendance.

Strong ales have been traditionally brewed during and for the winter and
early spring months and are quite suitable for aging – often being brewed a
year before release. Many of the ales for this tasting will be sampled in
vintage with a few vintage verticals and there will be an emphasis on barrel
aged beers – the J.W. Lees Harvest Ale, for instance, will be available from
the 2007 vintage aged in used Lagavulin Scotch Barrels. There will be a King
& Barnes Christmas Ale from 1998 plus ten vintages of Sierra Nevada’s
Bigfoot Barley Wine.

A very unique experience to sample all these strong beers together – along
with vintage dated brews including: Anchor Old Foghorn, Avery Hog Heaven,
Thomas Hardy’s Ale, Harvey’s Elizabethan Ale, Scotland’s Skull Splitter,
Portland Brewing Adam Barley Wine, Dog Fish Head Immort Ale, Lucifer Ale, Trois
Pistoles & La Fin Du Monde from Unibroue, Malheur Millennium, Capitol Blonde
Dopplebock – multiple vintages, Two Brothers Bear Tree Weiss Wine,
Maredsous Triple, EKU 28, and the French Belzebuth, Rogue Ales Old Crusty and
Young’s Old Nick. Admission is $20 for a sampling of the offerings.
