Various representative international sour beers (La Folie, Lolita, Panil Barrique, BFM, etc.) will also be available. This is guaranteed to be ideal for both the new Lambic enthusiast as well as the long term aficionado. Again, this tasting will take place on Sunday, May 26th from 12pm – 5pm, at Delilah’s, 2771 N. ever tasting of MRDC White Rye, Cody Road Straight Rye Whiskey, MRDC Windmill
Rye Whiskey and Cody Road Bourbon from the Mississippi River Distilling
Company all together at the same time and from the perspective of the Rye
grains. These Whiskies are crafted on the banks of the Mississippi River,
just
two hours West of Chicago in LeClaire, Iowa. We’ll be joined by owner and
distiller Ryan Burchett, who uses raw grain harvested by local farmers from
Iowa and Illinois for his Whiskeys. Free to attend.

Malt Scotch sampling. Over the last decade we have witnessed a dramatic shift
in the Highland region – away from classic Whisky stylistics to a more

tasting of Whiskey Barrel Aged Beers and we have a focus on Rye Whiskey
distilleries all week.
Sunday, April 21st, Noon-5pm – Whiskey Barrel Aged Beer Tasting. We are
hosting our second annual Tasting of Whiskey Barrel Aged Beers! There will be
beers from over 50 breweries, many of them in multiple vintages. We will
be looking at beers aged in Bourbon barrels – Goose Island Bourbon County
Stout, Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout, Founder’s KBS… and Scotch
barrels – JW Lees Lagavulin Finished Harvest Ale, Brewdog Storm aged in Islay
casks, etc.
