Bourbon Heritage Month Special Event

Every Thursday in September we are hosting a series of free events highlighting the History and Heritage of some of America’s most acclaimed distilleries.  Representatives from each distillery will be in attendance to discuss their place in Bourbon history and of course we will be sample some of their fine Whiskies.

We will be showcasing the History and Heritage of the Old Forester distillery.   Founded by George Garvin Brown in 1870, Old Forester was the first Bourbon to come packaged in it’s own unique bottle.  Old Forester is also the first distillery to double barrel its Bourbon, and the first distillery to offer a single barrel expression.  Today, Old Forester remains the only Bourbon continually sold by the same company before, during and after prohibition.  We will be discussing this heritage and sampling these innovative Bourbons.  8pm. & Free.
