In 1972 it was the jungles of Nam; in 1985 it’s the streets of America. Different places, same job. After enduring the hell of Vietnam, wheel-chair bound vet Joe heads back home to Georgia. Years of decline have turned his old neighborhood into an urban hell terrorized by crazed street thugs lead by the psychotic Roy Boy. After Joe is viciously killed defending his father’s store, his old war buddy Bill arrives for the funeral. Desperate, the locals asks for his help, so he gathers together the old unit from Nam to rid the town of the scum that runs wild in the streets.
