Bronson plays mild-mannered New York architect Paul Kersey. One day Kersey’s life and beliefs will be turned upside down and shattered when home intruders murder his wife and rape his young daughter. When the justice system fails, Kersey is stunned. Soon he turns to the streets to rid them of the thugs who plague and infect the lives of decent citizens like himself. A lone man holding back the rising tide of scum, Kersey is soon a target of a city-wide police man-hunt. Seems like the justice system still cannot tell the good guys from the bad! Professional killer Arthur Bishop (Bronson) leads a comfortable life as a hit man for a powerful organization.
