6pm Free Movie - J.C. (1972)To escape his religious fanatic father, J.C. (McGaha) flees his strict background, becoming the leader of a bike gang. One night, during a righteous LSD trip, he “sees the light” and preaches a sermon to his fellow tripping biker buddies to head west with him to freedom and a life with no hang-ups. Alas, they get no further than J.C.’s home town and soon fall headlong into a confrontation with the uptight townsfolk. It’s the life of Jesus told as a hippy-biker parable.
